Cookies

This page explains what Tsurito stores on your device. In short: we use no cookies for tracking or advertising, and we store only what is needed for something you asked for. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Turnstile hands the form a one-time token; the way we use it sets no cookie. While it runs it may use the browser's storage for a moment, and it identifies nobody.

The fonts of this website are served from our own address, so no other company sees your visit.

When you sign in on this website

On the pages where you sign in, such as the connector page and the page that publishes a website, Clerk, which handles signing in, sets three cookies: __session, a signed token that lasts 60 seconds and is renewed while you are signed in; __client, on Clerk's own domain, kept by the browser; and __client_uat, the time your session last changed. They are needed for signing in, so they do not need your consent.

The administration pages, used only by people who work at Tsurito, use the sign-in cookies of Clerk and of Cloudflare Access. They are not used for customers.

In the application

The application on your computer stores, on your computer only:

  • your session, so you stay signed in, encrypted with your computer's keychain;
  • your choice of theme;
  • which assistant you chose, and which tabs were open;
  • which first steps you have already seen.

None of it is used to track you.

On websites made with Tsurito

Websites made with Tsurito set no cookies of their own. We count their page views without cookies and without the visitor's internet address.

  • A website with a contact form loads Cloudflare Turnstile on that page, to check that messages come from people.
  • A paid website can switch on visitor numbers. They are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, without cookies.

Each website carries its own cookies page, and its owner is responsible for it. If an owner adds something else to their website, they must say so on that page.

Why there is no banner

The law asks for your consent before a website stores or reads information on your device, unless it is strictly needed for a service you asked for. Everything above is strictly needed, or it is a preference you set yourself. If we ever add something that needs your consent, we will ask first, and this page will change.
