Setting up your assistant

Tsurito does not write your website itself. It asks an assistant to do it, and that assistant is a service you pay for directly. You need one of the two below, and you set it up once.

You pay them, not us

Your subscription is yours. Tsurito does not resell it, does not add anything on top of it and does not cap what it gives you. If you already pay for Claude or for ChatGPT, you may already have everything you need.

Claude Code

Anthropic

What it is

Anthropic makes Claude, and Claude Code is the part of it that builds things. It comes with every paid Claude plan, so if you already pay for Claude you already have it.

Installing it

  1. Open Tsurito and go to the assistants screen.
  2. Press Install Claude Code. Tsurito does the whole installation for you; there is nothing for you to download, unpack or decide.
  3. It takes a minute or two. The screen says Installing… while it works and changes by itself when it is done.

Signing in

  1. Press Sign in to Claude Code on the same screen.
  2. Your browser opens on Anthropic’s page. Log in with your Claude account and approve.
  3. Some sign-ins end by giving you a short code. If yours does, Tsurito shows a box under the assistant: paste the code there and press Continue.
  4. The screen says Ready, with your account name beside it, when it has worked.

ChatGPT (Codex)

What it is

OpenAI makes ChatGPT, and Codex is the part of it that builds things. It comes with the paid ChatGPT plans from Plus upwards.

Installing it

  1. Open Tsurito and go to the assistants screen.
  2. Press Open the ChatGPT (Codex) install page. Your browser opens OpenAI’s own page.
  3. Follow the steps on that page. Tsurito cannot do this one for you, because OpenAI hands out Codex from their own site.
  4. Leave Tsurito open while you do it. The assistants screen notices by itself the moment Codex is there; you do not have to tell it.

Signing in

  1. Back in Tsurito, press Sign in to ChatGPT (Codex).
  2. Your browser opens on OpenAI’s page. Log in with the account your ChatGPT subscription is on, and approve.
  3. If the page gives you a short code, paste it into the box Tsurito shows under the assistant and press Continue.
  4. The screen says Ready when it has worked.

These prices were read from the two companies on 24 September 2026 and they are the ones you would pay them, not us. Check their own page before you buy.

Which one should I take?

Either. Tsurito works the same with both, and you can change your mind later. Take the one you already pay for. If you pay for neither, the cheapest plan that works costs about the same on both sides, and Claude Code is the one Tsurito can install for you without leaving the application.

When signing in will not finish

All of these are common and none of them break anything. Starting over is always safe: nothing you have made is lost.

The browser never opened
Press Sign in again. If your computer asks you which application should open the page, choose the browser you normally use and let it remember.
You signed in, and Tsurito still says you have not
Go back to Tsurito and give it a few seconds; the screen checks on its own. If it still says no, press Sign in again. Starting over is safe and costs nothing.
The page gave you a code and there was nowhere to put it
The box is in Tsurito, under the assistant, just below the Sign in button. If you cannot see it, press Sign in again and keep Tsurito where you can see it while the browser is open.
It says you have no subscription
You are almost certainly signed in with the wrong account. Sign out of Claude or of ChatGPT in your browser, then press Sign in in Tsurito again and use the account you pay with.
The installation stopped part of the way
Press Install again; nothing is left half-done. If it fails a second time, your network may be blocking the download — a different connection, or a home connection instead of an office one, usually settles it.
It worked yesterday and today it does not
Assistants sign you out from time to time, the way a bank does. Open the assistants screen and sign in again. Nothing on your computer is lost and none of your websites are touched.
You have both, and you want the other one
Set the second one up the same way. Tsurito uses whichever is ready, and when both are, it chooses for you.

What Tsurito never does

  • It never asks you for your Claude or ChatGPT password. You always type it on their own page, in your own browser.
  • It never sends your text, your pictures or your website to anybody except the assistant you chose.
  • It never buys anything on your behalf. The subscription is between you and them.

Still stuck

There is no support address yet. Tell whoever gave you Tsurito which of the two you were setting up and what the screen said.
