How we use AI
Tsurito makes and keeps websites with AI. This page explains which AI does the work, who sees what, and what AI never decides. When you talk to an assistant in Tsurito, you are talking to an AI, not to a person.
Three ways, and whose AI each one uses
| Whose AI | Where your words go | Who pays for the AI | |
|---|---|---|---|
| The application on your computer | Your own Claude (Claude Code) or ChatGPT (Codex) | From your computer to Anthropic or OpenAI, under your own agreement with them. Not to us. | You, through your own subscription |
| The connector in Claude and ChatGPT (early access) | Your own Claude or ChatGPT | Your conversation stays with Anthropic or OpenAI. We receive only the changes your AI asks our tools to make. | You, through your own subscription |
| The cloud, with our own assistant (early access) | Our assistant | From us to Anthropic and OpenAI, as our processors | You, through a monthly subscription of credits |
The application
In the application, your own Claude or ChatGPT reads your instructions, the files of your website and, when you bring an old website over, the pages of that website. It writes the website on your computer. We do not see this work and we do not pay for it. Anthropic and OpenAI handle it under your agreement with them, and their own privacy policies apply.
The application gives your assistant instructions and rules from us, so that every website works, can be edited and is fast. A checker in the application tests the website before it can be previewed or published.
The connector
With the connector, your Claude or ChatGPT can change your website only through our tools. Each tool can do one kind of change, such as changing a text or a picture, and we check every change against the structure of your website. The AI cannot touch anything else.
The cloud, with our own assistant
The cloud is not open yet. When it opens, we run the AI for you. We choose the models, and we may use different models for different tasks and change them over time. We do not tell you which model does which task, and the price does not depend on it.
What you write and the content of your website are sent to Anthropic and OpenAI, who run the models for us as our processors. They are named in our list of processors.
- Anthropic deletes what we send within 30 days. OpenAI keeps its abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days. We intend to ask both for zero data retention before the cloud opens.
- Neither uses what we send to train its models: Anthropic's commercial terms and OpenAI's API terms say so.
- We will keep your conversations and task histories for 90 days after their last activity.
Each task uses credits from your balance. Before a large task, we show an estimate and ask you to confirm. When your balance runs out, the assistant stops. Nothing is charged beyond your balance.
We do not train AI on your content
We do not use your websites, your conversations or your data to train AI models, and we do not sell them to anyone who does.
What AI never decides
- Publishing. A website is published only when you press the button that publishes it. Publishing is a fixed action of the service, never a decision of an AI.
- Payments. Starting, changing or cancelling a subscription, and every charge, happen only through your own action and Polar's checkout, never through an AI.
- Taking a website down, and suspending or closing an account. A person decides these, every time.
Before each publish, your own assistant takes a last look at what the website says, against our rules for what may be published. It runs on your computer, with your own AI, and looks only for what would be against the law. If it finds something, the website is not published: you can change the text and try again, or write to us and a person will look at it. If your assistant cannot answer, the website is published without its look.
AI makes mistakes
AI can write things that are wrong, out of date or not suitable for your business. Please read your website before you publish it. You are responsible for what your website says. See our Terms of service.
